The decision is easy to me. But since it will never happen I just hope he quits because of mental anguish. Can we get a bunch of people to sit behind the bench and harrass him constantly? Even on the road.

What he did last night makes sense. Why hate on the guy. I might have started Favors for the Overtime, but other than that he did a good jump. We just got beat,

It's not about winning or losing that people are more pissed. It's mismanagement of the personnel/roster and the chemistry problems that are likely to be existent and persistent from having players that either don't trust the coach or think he's inept.

Well said.

So you reward Favors' outstanding game with a benching for the final 17 minutes? And this is good for our future how? Just piss off one of your most talented players having the game of his life for Paul Millsap who is gone this off season? In no way can anybody make any of that make sense to me. It's ****ing stupid and very short sighted.

This. I don't give a **** that they lost. You don't jeopardize your future for an expiring contract and average player.

Kanter played really well though... It is hard to Argue Favors would have been better enough to get us the win.

I think Jerry Sloan might have done the same thing. Perhaps. Do you really think last night could cause Favors to want to leave the Jazz?

Last night by itself? No. Last night being just another night in a consistent pattern of being shafted? Yes.

So you acknowledge that people are at least somewhat pissed off because the Jazz lost instead of won?

I think people on here just like to complain in general. Even if Favors and Kanter had played the whole game, if the Jazz had lost, people would complain about it.

I would have to see a really strong candidate to replace him for me to be in favor of firing him.

Why? On a scale of 1 - 10 how do you see Corbin as a;

- Player dev't coach
- Offensive coach
- Defensive coach
- Player management (locker room, buy-in to a common vision/goal)
- Game management (substitutions, x's and o's)

Before anyone answers, please be advised I'll ask for specific evidence that corroborates any favorable (no pun intended) answers.

We always want to win, myself included.. I'm saying my anger re: the Favors situation is about chemistry and player confidence MUCH more than I am arguing we would have won if he had played.

Maybe that's true for you and however many people say that, but this board is full of people who find anything and everything to whine about. I somehow doubt Corbin hate would be so crazy if the Jazz had won, even if Favors still didn't play in the 4th quarter or OT.
Yes, the loss does intensify the feeling. But I'm still astounded Favors sat the rest of the game.

My real hope is that Greggy Boy sours on Corbin IF/WHEN the Jazz miss the playoffs. Bringing in Lindsey gives the organization the perfect "out" to make a change. Most GM's are brought in and allowed to choose their head coach. I know it's a bit different in this situation because we all know KOC is still the one really in charge. But it does give the Jazz a ready-made excuse to put out there.

Not trying to be a jerk, but it appears you're having a hard time comprehending it not being about the loss..

I get what you are saying, but do you really think that the events of last night could cripple Favors relationship with the Jazz to the point where he will want to leave when his contract is up? Don't you think favors will realize that Playing KAnter made sense. That is what i am trying to get across. Won't Favors think, hey, KAnter played really well last night. I understand why Coach Ty didn't get me back in. It was Kanter that led the charge to get us back in the game and plus, it isn't like Coach could just do ththe big lineup, becasue that would mean Sap
would have to guard J.J. Redick....???
