Dude has been putting up crazy stats lately, including high assist and high efficiency games. Not to mention he is actually lowering his FGA significantly over the past 2 weeks and helping the Bucks play winning basketball because of it.

Obviously we have to be wary because this is a contract year for Jennings, so he may just be playing smart because he realizes it's the best way to get his next contract, but I think I would be willing to spend some money on this guy. The talent is undoubtedly there, in both scoring and assisting. It would be interesting to see what he would do with some good offensive bigs at his disposal.

Anyone else down with BJ?
 
It's going to take a max contract to get Jennings, and even then, it might not be good enough.
Lots of teams looking for a young PG.

No, I don't think he could command max from anyone. I could always be wrong though, there are some desperate GM's out there.

I have no idea about the big market thing. Just seems like a tag people put on him because he is young, black, and has a lot of tattoos.

He made a comment sometime last year about "doing his homework" on big markets by the time he hits FA. That's where I got that.

Honestly, I'd be excited if we signed him. There's no doubt a risk but he has incredible talent and he's still very young. Plus he can shoot and create his own shot. Guess I just don't see him as a Jazz guy but that's not to say it wouldn't be worth exploring.

Also, if we spent money on Jennings, I think it would pretty much guarantee no more Jefferson.
