First off, I really don't want the Jazz to make the playoffs but rigged officiating is rigged officiating. The Jazz organization most likely doesn't need to make the playoffs for financial reasons this year either. The new CBA gives teams up to $16,000,000 in profit sharing but it also limits small market teams to $10,000,000 profit MAX. The Jazz likely hit all revenue benchmarks and thus that $10,000,000 limit given season team payroll. There is no ulterior motives for me to root for a first round exit. Not hope, not revenue strengthening the future, not anything.
