Chris Paul thinks Bledsoe should be the starting PG of the Jazz

Well he can't say the Jazz specifically but I'm sure it's what he was thinking.

Eric Bledsoe had 15 points and six rebounds in just 18 minutes on Saturday when the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 1. The 23-year-old guard shot seven of seven overall and helped the Clippers pull away in the fourth quarter.

Chris Paul is a free agent at season's end but is sounding more and more positive about re-signing with the Clippers. Even so, Paul knows the Clippers will have a difficult time keeping Bledsoe long-term -- much less past this season.

"There’s no way he can be here next year because we probably won’t have enough money to pay him," Paul said.

Bledoe has one season left on his contract.

"He should be a starting point guard in this league next year," Paul said of Bledsoe.

Why? Maybe he's motivating Eric to keep up the good work and get a nice pay day. .

Yeah there's that angle. At the same time Bledsoe is not a FA and management might want to keep him until the deadline next year as a backup and super 6th man.

I think its all about THIS year for guys like CP3. They want to push all the right buttons.. and if anything else, help teammates.

Joking aside I'm sure CP3 really was thinking the Jazz when he spoke about him starting for a team next year. The Jazz and Clippers were known to be in talks for a Bledsoe trade and really what other team needs a PG like Bledsoe?

The only other team I can see going after him is Dallas, but I think they want more of a veteran PG to go with Dirk. Dirk doesn't have time for Bledsoe to develop.

I know, for a fact, that the Jazz spoke with Bledsoe.. either Clips or camp.

I'd be a very happy man if we got Bledsoe. Teague or Bledsoe w/ a draft like McCollum, or Wolters (yes, I am high on him. He's got that IQ you can't teach), and our PG woes would be over.
:D

What does either Clips or camp mean? Also, that is pretty awesome that the Jazz spoke with Bledsoe. We could be a GREAT defensive team with him and Favors.

I meant either the Clips FO or Eric's agt.. not sure which.. but there was some discussion, for sure.
