Chris Paul thinks Bledsoe should be the starting PG of the Jazz

It is Chris Paul's first indication that he will probably sign a max extension with the Clippers this summer, which is huge for LAC. I doubt the Clips will trade Bledsoe this summer, unless they are getting a championship caliber player in return to take them over the hump, like Garnett or Pierce. They won't get equal value for Bledsoe because of his rookie contract. If I were the Jazz and the Clips were doing some summer deals, I would trade both first round picks for Bledsoe, as long as there was an extension negotiated. I think the Clips will wait until the trade deadline and if that is the case the Jazz don't have any assets anymore beside Core 4 and Marvin's expiring deal. Depending on how the Core 4 is doing together, the Jazz may not want to part with any of them.

oh, I see. What do you think about Bledsoe on the Jazz? good fit or no?

Yes, I do. Tough defender, relentless attacker, can make the pass.. he's more of a combo guard but I'd take him in a minute .. for the right money, obvi.

Okey...

Let's see:

Bledsoe - Schroeder - Burks
Burks - Caldwell Pope - Delfino
Hayward - Carroll - Delfino
Kanter - Landry - Evans
Favors - Aldrich - Jaiteh

Let Hayward be our Point Forward and dominating the ball more.

Use Kanter as the first scoring option and let him work inside.

Let Favors be our defensive stalwart, controling the paint.

Carl Landry should get around 25 minutes per game.

A second unit of Schroeder-Caldwell Pope-Carroll-Landry-Aldrich is okey.

I like his defense and that is he young and aggressive. I think the combo guard thing does not matter as much in today's nba, especially not if we keep Burks and Hayward around, and they handle the ball a lot as well. Man, that would be a great defensive team with Bledsoe, Burks, Hayward, Kanter and Favors.

So you're saying the Jazz may have committed a huge violation of league rules?

I don't know the rules.. but I know what I said is true.
(Just making sure you know I am referring to a few months back when I first brought that news here.)

Bledsoe looks amazing in the open court, or when he is attacking the basket.

When the lanes are shut off though, the guy looks pretty average.

He did have one amazing drive down the center where he split two defenders at the top of the key, and went around Z bo at the rim. Although Z Bo is not a particularly good rim defender... so yeah, what you said.

I know, for a fact, that the Jazz spoke with Bledsoe.. either Clips or camp.
That's good. KOC went to work on the Jefferson trade before the deadline, but the trade didn't get done until the following year. I think the Clippers might be open to trading Bledsoe right after CP3 signs a new contract. It all comes down to how much they want in compensation. If Bledsoe has a great post-season, the Clippers might want too much in return.

I think he's saying it happened before the trade deadline. And it's not a violation to speak to the Clips FO about a trade. If they spoke with his agent, it was likely done with the permission of the Clippers. Obviously, Utah isn't going to make the trade unless Bledsoe was willing to re-sign with Utah.
