Video Game Thread

Currently I am playing Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm on PC, Walking Dead on PS3, Starcontrol 2 & 3 on my laptop (for a flavor of the old school).

On another note, since I was bitching about Fallout 3 awhile back.....RAGE is more like what I thought Fallout 3 was going to be. I'm only a couple hours in, but it has serious potential so far. Already has 2 or 3 of the best weapons in any video game I've played. Good stuff.

I have had much more success harrassing with Helions than I have Reapers. Also a mix of Marines, Mauraders, Medivacs and Vikings seems to work very nicely.

I have yet to build a single Ghost.

Didn't even realise Dead Space 3 was on there. It is a good game but not really my thing. I play it online with my brother in law sometimes.

Didn't hurt that Greg Kasavin is a guest. He used to be Gamespot's chief editor, and he always has some keen observations in his own geeky, bumbling sort of way.

BTW, I'm looking forward to Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen and Dead Island: Riptide, both coming out on Tuesday.

I hadn't heard Dragon's Dogma was coming out with a sequel, just a few weeks ago I was looking for another game to play to kinda hold me over and I found Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning I had missed so just got that to hold me over until some new RPG games came out.

You ever heard of it? Playing it for about 1 week now but not that many hours and to me it is a little Dragons Age meets Oblivion.
