Who would you take right now? Options are: Giannis Adetokunbo, Isaiah Austin, Michael Carter-Williams, Gorgui Dieng, Kelly Olynyk, Mason Plumlee, and Dennis Schroeder

I think that Giannis might be slipping a bit and you could get him at #21, so based on the rest of that list I would take Schroe.

PS, Spy says hi to everyone.

Austin - but I would have absolutely 0 expectations and I might eventually be pleasantly surprised.

Wouldn't hate Olynyk, I think he will be a solid 3rd big.

How high is our chance to get a better pick than the 14th one ? Hmm I do not want to take this german guy, who is not looking like a german.

A german looks like this... kl1915h1.jpg

Not like this... Schroeder-DBB.jpg

hmmm, but damn hell this guy is speaking almost perfectly...

I can translate what he is talking about, if someone wants to... He seems like a nice guy, maybe Big-AL can teach him how to shoot the ball and also a bit of his footwork.

Trey Burke and Otto Porter

Well, no, it would probably be #4 and #17...

I'd probably go Porter at #4 and Schroeder at #17 (if I'm confident Schroeder is there). That would be an awesome draft BTW, one that satisfies JazzFanz as well as Cy.

or

Burke at #4 and Austin/Olynyk at #17 and Greek Freak at #21 (GSW pick).

So we would have 4, 17, and 21 then? How about we package 17 and 21 with something and get Trey Burke as well? I mean, if we are going to dream, then dream big right?

This poll really needs more options, without them I don't see a reason to vote.

I really like Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. If we do in fact trade for a PG this off-season, and have to trade Burks in the process, Caldwell-Pope would be a great replacement. Not as good of a slasher but a much better shooter and has good size and length for a wing. I could imagine both he and Hayward holding down the wings for a few years here. He shot almost 38% from 3, took 5 FT per game, and improved substantially across the board from his freshman to sophomore season.

I dunno.. who do you think has a higher ceiling? Burke or Schroeder?

I think Schroeder.

I don't think anyone really knows much about Scroeder, but he looks good. I really think any one of the young point guards being discussed currently on the board would do great with the Jazz. We have such talent in the young guys we have now, and they just need someone who is not going to get in their own way, ala Mo Williams. I would even go so far as to say that the point guard the Jazz get would get Rookie of the Year consideration, or if they are not a rookie, then Most Improved consideration. One caveat, though, is that they have to get playing time, which I am not sure will happen with Corbin as coach.

Wait when did we get pick 4 and 17? If you're drafting at #1 overall for the Utah Jazz, you do not trade the pick under any circumstances. Unless its for like Jimmer or something.
