Bill Simmons describes Corbin perfectly

"Alec Burks (puzzlingly buried by the wildly incompetent Ty Corbin)"

Hits the nail on the head perfectly.

Everyone needs to email/write/facebook Simmons and ask him to write a piece, a manifesto if you may, begging the Jazz to fire Corbin now. Unless Utah's plan is to get Jabari. Then keep him.

KOC: "Should we fire Corbin or not?!?!"
Lindsey: "I don't know, I'm waiting for Bill Simmons to tell me!!!"

Sadly this might be the exact conversation. I think bill Simmons would make a great gm fwiw.

Kobe played too many minutes, his body wore down, he got hurt. This is not a debate. People need to stop making excuses for a bad coach.

I'm amazed the Lakers made the playoffs. They were 17-25 in a brutal West. No Gasol for 5 weeks. Lost Kobe late. Mike D - Coach of the Year!

Sarcasm.

Is it true that D'Antoni has a serial tendency to overplay certain players? Absolutely. Is it also true that D'Antoni CAN be a great coach depending on the circumstance? Yes.

I think that is one of the most common mistake that almost all coaches make. They always want to play the star, even though he may be injured and playing at 50% rather than letting the sub make a statement.

Nobody, not even Phil Jackson was going to sit Kobe in the midst of that push to make the playoffs.

Bill's job is to make opinions to keep the 24-hour espn machine moving. I enjoy his writing, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that because he is a good writer and full of himself that he would make a good headcoach or a GM.
