Holy ****, Steph Curry is good. If Ty had the Warriors roster, they probably would've won just as many games this year. Jackson isn't that great.
He messed with God IMO. He proclaimed himself to be a Christian, a Pastor. Then what did he do? He went along with the tank machine last year.
That ain't right.
He'll get lucky at times, but ultimately he won't win. David Lee's injury proved that.
Sorry Mark - unless you change your ways, you'll never get anywhere.

I agree. If he was a good coach that team would be even better. David lee is better than sap or Jefferson, and they have some other great talent as well. Curry is awesome though.

What was Jackson doing before he was hired in golden st?
Here are coaches out there. Whether we promote someone in house like hornacek, hire some no name basketball film need (like tibbs), or hire on an announcer who's interested in coaching. We just have got to get rid of Corbin. Even a lower seed team with a long history of crapiness has a better coach than we do. Golden st is ahead of us in the rebuilding process
I wouldn't put it past their FO to tell Jackson to glue Thompson to the bench in the 4th quarter of the Warriors' last couple of games. That said, even if that were the case it doesn't make it any more ethical on Jackson's part if he was following orders.

They are ahead of us because of Steph curry. That guy is awesome. I think unless Corbin improves greatly this next season then we will have a new coach, probably hornacek, in 2014

About as ethical as playing josh Howard, raja bell, Marvin Williams, big al, and Paul Millsap ahead of Alec burks, Hayward, junkyard dog, favors, and kanter.
I think there's a chance Phoenix reaches out to Hornacek. Lindsey Hunter was Lance Blanks' guy, and Blanks got canned as the Suns' GM. I don't expect the Suns to bring back Hunter as their coach.
Sucking as a head coach isn't unethical - coaching to lose is imo.

So basically... We waste yet another year? Awesome.
Have you even seen Corbin? His system... Both offensively and defensively? Sucks! Rotations? Horrible. Use of timeouts? Pathetic. Out of bounds plays? Non-existent. Motivation? Rarely do we play hard. Communication? horrid. the way he brushed off losses and pissed off fans was unbelievable. And overall improvement? Haven't seen it.
Do we really need to waste another year before we recognize that he just isn't cut out to be a head coach?

Oh really? Because I heard for most of this season that he was forced to play those guys to increase their trade value. By now it's all because Corbin sucks? So why don't we fire him? And do you really believe that Corbin is a better hc than Jackson?
If Corbin played those guys by his own free will, then he's a complete dumbass who needs to be fired right now. If he played those guys because the fo told him to, then that's completely unethical. Fans paid good money to see the best players out there. Playing those lousy vets ahead of the kids wasn't doing that. In a very real sense, they essentially, "tanked."
It's that simple.

I'm not sure why you're bringing that up to me because I never said that. The Jazz aren't firing him because they're loyal to a fault, and as for Jackson being a better coach than Corbin, I'm inclined to think so, but Jackson has two All-Star caliber players in Lee and Curry. Even with all the minutes Al and Millsap got, they're not at that level.

I'm just looking at the standings... this is probably how I'd rank the West based upon the rosters alone:
Thunder
Clippers
Lakers
San Antonio
Golden State
Memphis
Denver
Dallas
Houston
Utah
Everyone else..
Point is that Jackson has a lot more talent to work with than Ty does.. does anyone disagree with that? But at the same time, they only won 4 more games than us.. and seeing their roster, that's a legit 50 win team.. but they didn't get there. Jackson is VERY lucky to have Steph Curry.. and we would have a worse record with him as the coach.

You may want to check their injury list. How many games did bogut, lee, Thompson, and curry miss?
How do you explain Denver having a higher seed than GSW then? I'd argue they have similar talent to HOU and Jazz... They're starting Koufos for crying out loud.
