There's actually a lot more to this story. Part of it is that Karl is not only joining the restored church but is also joining the Jazz to restore the franchise.
Reports are that the finished product will hoist a 6'9" Malone statue, entitled Maloni, who, rather than sounding forth a trumpet and holding gold plates, is shouting through a bullhorn and clutching an NBA championship trophy.

"Taking" the discussion. Why is it referenced as such? Forgive my ignorance, but why is it referred to as "taking it"? Usually saying someone is "taking it" isn't necessarily a positive thing. I'll probably get neg repped by NAOS for asking this, but I'm serious. Not trying to incite.

I was kidding. Dry humor doesn't go over well on this site. Hung up? Sorry to to take your time? Anyone whose time is that valuable isn't perusing this forum. This is a forum, correct? Isn't the point to discuss topics and share differing opinions? A good attempt, but a "discussion" requires two people. Taking notes or taking five, does not. Taking it suggests that someone is doing something unpleasant rather than willingly participating. Is that how it is typically referenced - "taking discussions"? I find it interesting that everyone responded as if "taking discussions" was par for the course. Not a judgment, just a comment. If you said this in any other context, people would likely stare blankly at you.
