Sign Greg Oden?

If we can get another center in just in case he gets re-injured, and be can be signed at a very low price then sure.

Do you think they can trasplant someone elses legs onto his body? Heck, at this point even Sam Bowie's legs would be an improvement.

Is the point of signing Oden so that when he breaks again we can play Kanter 48 minutes per game? If so I'm all in.

I go back and forth on this when I think about it. He has a really hard time staying healthy and got a really bad rep in Portland for partying and not staying in shape. Several of my friends are Blazer fans and they really hate him, not because of his knee injury but because he partied and drank a lot. However, there have been articles out there saying how he has matured and that he's ready to work hard and play. If we can get him for cheap and not fully rely on him to be our 2nd center, then I'm for it. Risk is fairly low given the low price tag he'll get, reward is high as he could turn into a decent bench player....but don't expect him to average high minutes or high stats. Gotta realize how little basketball he's played in the past few years

I think the whole partying thing came from him getting really depressed about his injury as well as some other personal problems he was having at the time.

I expect his return to be as successful as Brandon Roy's. I credit them for the effort, but they're not physically capable of playing an NBA season, not to mention stringing a few seasons together.

I wouldn't mind having him as our 3rd big. Giving him 15-20 minutes a game just to see what he can do. We have about 26 mil to spend this year, why not throw him a 1 year deal or something.
