Gordon Hayward 12-13 Season Mix

Secondary ball handler is cool with me for Hayward. I think if he had a better pick and roll partner, that aspect would improve. As far as isos, we just need a better coach who does not run an iso offense.

Millsap is one of the most efficient PnR players in the league. Higher ppp than Boozer. Similar to David West and LMA. Would probably have had a lot higher numbers last season if it wasn't an ongoing training exercise for Hayward to learn the play. Thankfully Tyrone Corbin put a ton of effort into it and didn't give up when Hayward was failing at it. He was much better the second half, I'm guessing splits would back this up.

I knew Sap was good at pnr, but I had no idea he was that good. I don't remember him running the pnr with Hayward much, but that makes sense as to why Millsap's efficiency dropped a bit this season. Good post.

Sorry, I meant to say one of the better, not most efficient.

Hayward and Sap are the weak side option when they run faux-triangle on the opposite side. Basic synergy doesn't give me last season's numbers so I can't confirm a decline in pnr.
