I'm not high on Bazz right now. Seriously worried about his passing, shot selection, and defensive effort. However, if we got the 13th pick and already grabbed Schroeder, I think the risk on Bazz would be very tempting.

If Bazz is available after the 10th pick, he's worth the risk. Guys who can score will always be a valuable commodity. Hell, look at JR Smith. He's arguably one of the dumbest players in the league, but he'll always have a spot and minutes to play because the name of the game is buckets. If Bazz was available at #14 and we didn't take him, I would be very disappointed. He's not our biggest need, but he would be the best player available.
This is all a moot point though, because he's not dropping to us. Those GM's can be stupid, but not that stupid.

I would totally dig Bazz/Larkin. That would be a spectacular draft.

I don't get the love for Schroeder. We know very little about him. It seems to me that that because he is a bit of an unknown, it makes it easy to project our hopes onto him, which is harder to do for someone like, say, MCW.
Of course, this is all coming form someone who really wanted Derrick Williams. The draft is such an unknown. Having said that, I like Larkin, and if we can get him with our second pick, I'd be thrilled. My worry about Shabazz is that he's an inefficient volume shooter with an attitude problem. We need neither of these.

I don't completely love him, as I've said on JazzFanz many times, I need to be sure that his attitude checks out and that his shot is real legit to be comfortable picking him.
What I meant was, if it was Bazz vs Schroeder, I'd rather pick Schroeder simply because team's needs as well as I'm not 100% sold on Bazz neither. I know there is a lot of love on here for Bazz, but he just rubs me the wrong way somehow. Just really can't put my finger on it. I just don't get a good feeling of him being a team player and fitting well with Favors, Kanter, Hayward. Dunno...

I think OKC is the team that made the promise to Schroeder. Rumor was that they did same thing with Reggie Jackson a couple drafts ago when he shut it down and sure enough they picked him. Considering Reggie Jackson did well in the playoffs after Westbrook's injury, you'd think they would be set at the back-up PG spot, but Westbrook's injury and trading Maynor may have changed that. If I were them I would go with a scoring big like Olynyk or Zeller or someone who can give scoring off the bench as Harden once did like Shabazz, but that's why I am on JazzFanz and they run the Thunder.
