She's close to her due date so they are going to use drugs to cause her body to go into labor.

I'm not for it as a general practice. My wife was induced (it wasn't planned) and I don't think it was really necessary. I think it led to about a half-dozen other problems during the course of the delivery which ended up being a c-section after over 30 hours of labor.

Congrats b_line. I wish you the best of luck. Although labor was rough for us my son was 100% healthy and happy. I'm pulling for no less for you.
