No problems. You're pretty quick to label Kaitlyn Hunt as a "pedophile", and given the legal boundaries, you're probably technically right. Give me some terms you might use to describe a 42 year old man who would court and have sex with a 15 year old girl. Or the same guy a few years later who would do the same with a 16 year old? Pedophile? Predator? Scumbag? Criminal? Depraved? Prophet?
That's the crux of the issue for me. A 14 year old can't give informed consent because he/she does not have the maturity needed. Especially when an older partner is involved.
If my daughter were the 14 year old, I cannot even imagine what my reaction would be. And this has nothing to do with the homosexual aspect of the situation.

That's like saying its ok to keep a black kid in your basement and make him clean your house for free because the President's did it 200 years ago.
Just to be clear, I'm not condoning what happened but I know of couples who were senior/freshman dating back them. I didn't understand the attraction because the girls were so young. To me, putting seniors and freshmen in high school together is a recipe for disaster, but in my possibly warped view, these are still students in a school. If I was on the jury, I would grit my teeth, swallow hard, and vote "guilty" because that's the law. It doesn't mean that I agree with it. I just think it's ******** to label a high school senior as a sex offender or "pedophile". I would hate to be labeled for life for some of the stuff I did as a senior.

Until parents decide to take their kids back and raise them with some sort of dignity, it will just get worse.
18 and 14 are light years apart in maturity and decision making. 14 year olds are dumb. They don't know what they want. They don't know how they feel about things or what they want out of life. Any 18 year old scamming on a 14 year old is trash.
