Assuming we resign DMC.....

his heart, hustle and determination will single handedly account for a couple victories in the win column.

Don't get me wrong, i want Demarre back on this team and could care less about any of our other free agents, but just got a bad feeling he's gonna be trying very hard those last few meaningless games and screw up our draft position.

According to my calculations, DMC will have about 17 gamed to make an impact before the Wet Bandit gets back and starts playing about 25 minutes a game.

We have no legit shot at #1.. with or without Demarre.

Would make more sense to say Kanter will cost us Wiggins.

Really! Really!

First just want to say this is one hell of a dumb thread. Second, the team with the worst record almost never wins the lottery. I think I heard that since they started using a lottery system, the team with the worst record has won it three times.

So this thread should be titled Carroll will give us a better shot at Wiggins.

Here's what you do guy, you watch the draft next year and whichever team gets the Wiggins kid, you bandwagon yourself onto that team and root for them, because i will never root for my team to lose to get a player, not even Jabari. I hope our team of the core four, three draft picks and whatever else we get makes it deep into the playoffs next year because that would mean we already have a superstar or two on the team. A strong draft next year means that there will still be some talent left at the mid twenties where I would like the Jazz to be drafting.

woo hoo d will Texas has to start a completely asinine thread just to remind us how inept he really is.

Which, given the odds, isn't THAT unusual. In any year (where there isn't a tie for the worst record), the worst team only has a 25% chance of winning the first pick (that is, the field is three times as likely to win).

kind of off topic, but does anyone realise what our team would look like if ty gave our oldest players priority right now?

I'm thinking it would be something like:

Jerel Mcneal
kevin murphy
marvin williams
jeremy evans
derrick favors

Straight to the chip

Wow, that would be bad.

How many times has the team with the worst record finished with a pick out of the top-5? I'd gladly take a top-5 pick.

The worst pick the bottom team can "win" in the lottery is #4 (only the top 3 picks are drawn; the remaining picks follow the standings).
