What's new

Yay Pacers

I'd love to see the Pacers beat Miami. The Pacers were my pick in the east. One of the few East teams that I do not dislike.

Definitely congrats to Indiana for taking it to the limit. No doubt Stern has already met with the refs and told them to enforce the no flopping rule against Indiana, but anything LeBron and his teammates do is acceptable. Only an incredibly poor shooting performance from James will allow Indiana a chance in Game 7.

Haven't watched the playoffs much but has this series been that favorable of the heat? Or are you just sayin this stuff ole man?

Did Lebron get fined for the blatant flop in game 6. It was almost Baron Davis bad. Ran up to George, put his face intentionally on George then collapsed like George had hit him in the face with a sledge hammer.

Nice to see the best team win. LBJ is basketball God. Michael Jordan has a shrine built in his honor, meanwhile Kobe cries himself to sleep every night.

Life is Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!!!

LOL... makes me want to go back and watch Kobe/Harp battles.

Yeah this was spot on.

Clearly to someone with an above average reading comprehension level, yes.

What do you not understand about the words, "odds against" and "might"?

You implied that despite the unlikelihood of the Pacers winning, you still thought it would happen. Or do you not understand the words which you wrote?

The word "would" has a different meaning than the words "might" or "odds against". Things turned out exactly as I expected them to.

Your statement makes no sense. If I implied that it was unlikely that the Pacers would win, than this would be in conflict with saying that they would win, which is why I did not say that they would win.

So you are saying that with your initial statement you were simply acknowledging that there existed some probability greater than zero that the Pacers could win?

Then I am going to cover my bases for tomorrow. I think that maybe on the off chance that something might happen that I will think that it could happen even though it probably wont.

No no matter what I can claim that I was right.

No, that's not what I was saying either. Two strikes. I'll give you another chance to try for a reasonable interpretation if you want.
