What's new

Get an all Utah Utes radio show here in Utah. You can help!

I'm reading the Utah site to see why UGLI is so confident in Utah's players because I don't get the Pac 12 channel and of course there is absolutely nothing backing him up but hype.

Kaufusi is already better than anybody on your D-Line and he was only home for like 3 weeks from his mission when he played last year. Eathyn Manumalelna would easily make a top 4 of the 2 rosters. If we want hype, Tuni Kaunch brings that. He's a beast.....in theory. Just like all of Utah's supposed players.

Linebackers... Blechen would make the top 4....and....nobody else. Van Noy, Hadley, and Pikula all start. And oh, your secondary is brand new too. I'm sure it's stocked better than BYU's considering BYU has 3 returning starters that have all proven to be solid enough. And BYU has JC corners coming too. We'll give Utah 1 out of 4 slots there.

Oline's on both sides are inexperienced. Potesi and Ryker Matthews would be the lock starters. Everyone else? Who knows.

Hoffman and Dres Andersen are the starters at WR. There is nobody on either team that sticks out after that.

Jake Murphy at TE.

RB and FB - Williams and Alisa

QB - We'll go with the outside observers on this one that are predicting Taysom Hill to be the next Johnny Football/a big time player and whatnot. Will he be? Probably not johnny football, but a big time player. Since we don't have much to go on from either guy at this point, we'll give to the nod to hype on this one.

None of those players you named made the all conference team. Not even honorable mention.

Your argument is invalid.

If you give a nod to hype, BYU will always win. Whatever happened to Heaps? He was also hyped pretty big.

Please. 99% of BYU's players were at general conference this year. At conference > all conference.

Starting QB at Kansas this year under living Notre Dame legend Charlie Weiss. BIG 12. Does that impress you conferencephiles? How about this? BIG 12. I'm very interested to see how he does in the BIG 12. Hopefully they are on TV a few times.

As someone who hates byu more than anything in the world, should I be rooting for or against Jake Heaps to succeed?

Would seeing Heaps play well at KU bum you guys out, or would it give you dorks some weird satisfaction that you used to have him?

I seriously laughed at the term "conferencephiles." Rep'd

However, I'm not sure if I would consider Charlie Weiss a "Notre Dame Legend"... I think he received most of his fame when he was the OC at New England.

Also, I would like to remind everyone that Kansas has been to more BCS games than BYU.

I might be wrong, but I'd be interested in an honest discussion about it. (no Conan, no thriller)
