Lol. Jimner is far from a sure fire rotation player at this point. Could be out of the league in a couple years.

Has that stopped the Tebowmania? The people who go crazy over a player like Jimmer or Tebow don't even objectively look at their performance.
 
So pretty much we have the ute fans who can't look past their hate of byu, the byu fans who still have a hard on for college jimmer, and then the very small group of non-emotionally charged fans in this thread.

1) You don't know me. I'm not the safe bet kinda guy.
2) Jimmer hasn't proven any more or less than these guys......... imo.

Nothing to do with hating byu. Its a FACT that it would create a huge distraction.

This isnt like us signing Andre Miller, Andrew Bogut, or some other Ute. byu fans are really really weird about Jimner.

Im guessing you dont live in Utah?

Your smelling skills are impeccable. Of course Burks has a higher ceiling but.......

-Jimmer has a THREE point higher PER score over Burks

-Has a higher FG% than Burks

-Higher FT% than Burks

-The same PPG on 4 minutes LESS per game


Jimmer is currently more effecient than Burks. Burks value is his ceiling but when looking at Jimmer you would have to believe that in the right situation he could keep getting better.

Jimmer makes sense for the Jazz. He would/still is hugely popular here. He would make the Jazz money even if he is playing the Earl Watson role.
