DX Updated Mock Draft (20 mins ago)

I don't think McCollum will be a bust by any means, I just have my doubts about whether he'll be better than Burks. I like both quite a lot.

I have to share ...... believe it or not, and way ironically... Scott Padgett has been hired as a consultant to a search/plan and he is a dear friend of mine (don't)... he has told me that the Jazz are uncovering every stone and have made it a proclamation to get'r done.. I assume he's telling me the truth since I've known Scott since he was 16 years old.. I would like to change my mock, now, please.

I had him going to the Kings, so works for me.

So I guess there's a chance Burke will be available and we pass on him? Interesting. Dal is gonna die on the spot.

I don't think the question is whether McCollum will be better than Burks, but whether he fits with the team better. Burks is set up to be a combo guard off the bench. If you can trade that and get a good starting PG, it makes sense to make that move,

especially if you can draft Archie Goodwin at 21.

1. Burks will be a starter in the league

2. I worry much more about CJ's position than I do Burks'

I think McCollum is closer to DWill's talent level that some people might think. Just not as much attitude (which is both bad and good).

The same Scott Padgett that accused the Jazz of cheating.......... tightening the rims and over inflating the balls because we relied on a lay up offense?

The NBA has a real scandal that is about to blow, and Scott Padgett has the skinny: The Jazz has been cheating for years, he says. "They overinflate the balls," the Nets forward said. "They have an offense geared toward the layup, so they want your jumpers bouncing out," he explained. "The whole time I was there (1999-2003), the balls were hard. I'm gone now, and the balls are still too hard. They overinflate them, I'm telling you." -- Newark Star-Ledger

Scott Padgett or me as your source? I've been saying this exact same thing for 3-4 days now........we have diff sources saying the same thing though. That's encouraging.

McCollum won't bust. His floor is probably George Hill and his ceiling is probably close to DWill. He's probably a top-5 prospect in this draft.

14 + Burks is a heavy price, but we'll get a decent player at 21 and might be able to acquire another pick.

I've soured on Bazz. Every interview I've heard reeks of something...

I don't like him. Just like the mocks.
Honestly your reading too much into them. Listen to a Kobe interview then listen to Bazz those two are very similar in personality. I think UCLA hurt him more than anything else.
translation... Tony is an idiot.

was one of the first to compare the two. Said he was a mix between D-Will and Curry.
