So how many MPG do you think Gobert and Burke have this upcoming season?

I'm going to go with:

33 mpg for Burke

12 for Gobert.

Burke won't play that much. I give him 25. Jazz will bring in a vet to split minutes and probably re-sign Tinsley to play some.

I'm cy-ding w/ cy. Jazz change the culture and give Burke big minutes while tanking. Not sure Gobert will play that much, depends on how the rest of the roster fills out and what Evans does (which prolly won't be much).

Depends on who they sign hard to tell. If its Tinsely than Burke will play 28-30 minutes per game. If it is someone like Calderon than the minutes will be split.

25 is probably a good bet though.

Will Gobert even be in the US?

I think so. It would be wise. We need to get him on a strength and conditioning program. Him being at the top of his physical game is most important to him being effective for us in the future.

I give Burke 25 as well. I am totally guessing that the Jazz sign a stopgap FA PG a la Jose Calderon, and bring Burke off the bench.

Which doesn't upset me. Give him consistent minutes, give him every opportunity to succeed, but don't rush things.

Honestly guys, our rebuild is complete. Our core is set. This could not have worked out better.

We have a selfless PG, three ball-handlers, and a very formidable big man rotation (Just THINK if Tomic comes over).

Burke
Burks
Hayward
Favors
Kanter

Marv
Carroll
Gobert
JeremyHeavens
Tomic

Very young. Of course, we don't really have any offense in our bench-- but that is the easiest part of the equation :) I am so stoked for this upcoming season. MAN.

Need to luck out and get one more truly elite piece and we'll be legit contenders in a few years.

It was confirmed today in the media interview with Lindsey that Gobert will be in US next season.

Source- I've been on Twitter all day.
I'd like to get the actual source but there are a ****load of tweets.

Honestly, we clearly have the FO to lead us there. Ridiculous amount of competence this entire offseason. We are looking like the goddamn Spurs out there

I'm literally crying from how happy this post made me. About 3 tears.

Burke will get 23 minutes, regardless of who the other points are. Gobert will get 15 minutes unless we bring in another big man, in which case his mpg will drop to 8.

take your pick from any of the top 7 or 8 players in next year's draft. Add in 1-2 vets we steal at the deadline as teams dump salaries, This FO has shown some major smarts over the last 3 years, unwinding salaries and getting us into prime financial position. I know we like to put it all on the new guy, but this strategy was outlined and put into place by KOC, starting with the Deron deal. Once the Jazz were pretty certain Williams wouldn't sign a new deal, the rebuild started. Only hiccup was GS tanking. But it all worked out for the best. We didn't get Barnes, but we ultimately had the ammo to get Burke. Just cost an extra $3M to buy Gobert.
