A+ draft. Absolutely. I really could not have dreamed a better draft for the Jazz. I had a feeling that we were going to get Trey Burke once I realized that most teams in the top 10 of the draft already were set at Point Guard. Once he slipped to Minnesota, I knew that we had a serious chance because there is no way that Timberwolves need a Point Guard. They already have Ricky Rubio. The trade for Rudy Gobert was our 2nd round pick (#46, Eric Green from VA Tech) and Cash. He is going to be a perfect defensive monster to bring off the bench behind Enes and Derrick. He and Jeremy Evans are going to be an explosion of athleticism and defense off the bench at the PF/C positions. I think that the Jazz will sign 4 free agents (2 reserve PG's behind Trey Burke, re-sign Randy Foye to back up Alec Burks at Shooting Guard and DeMarre Carroll to back up Gordon Hayward at Small Forward). We are going to be way under the salary cap, so if everything works out, we should have the cap space to re-sign all of our young players. My 2013-2014 Utah Jazz Depth Chart:
PG: Trey Burke, Free Agent PG, Free Agent PG
SG: Alec Burks, Randy Foye (re-sign), Gordon Hayward
SF: Gordon Hayward, DeMarre Carroll, Marvin Williams (injured)
PF: Enes Kanter, Jeremy Evans, Marvin Williams
C: Derrick Favors, Rudy Gobert, Enes Kanter
If Gobert decides to not come over right now, I would probably guess that the Jazz sign a back-up big.
