Looking Forward to the 2014-2015 Season

Now that we have Burke, we may just have our PG of the future. I think he will be pretty good. Time will tell. Looking Forward, I am excited about the 2014 draft. My gut feeling is that we are able to land a top 10 pick in next years draft, which should be pretty awesome. Just wanted to throw the idea out there that we could potentially get Jabari Parker, Glenn Robinson, James Young, Andrew Harrison, and there is even a chance at Wiggins. Our Roster could look pretty awesome a year from now

Trey Burke (Andrew Harrison? Marcus Smart? Potentially.
Gordon Hayward
Jabari Parker?, Glenn Robinson?, James Young?, Andrew Wiggins?
Enes Kanter
Derrick Favors

6th man= Alec Burks

Of course, we may end up pretty good which would negate a high draft pick but I think if we were a playoff team next year, with our youngs, everyone would be pretty excited. Let's hope Trey Burke impresses us all and leads this team in a big way. he seems to have the Moxie for it.

I do believe Burke is our PG of the future. Meaning, will be good enough to run a championship caliber team.

The way the team is shaping up is both good and bad. I am loving some of the pieces but there will be some unknowns on our bench and that could hurt the Jazz in the standings. That of course is a hard pill to swallow but a nive plump 2014 pick will wash that pain right away. Go go franchise SF!

Go young next year...... That is the only thing that matters.
Wins, losses next year? Who cares
Play the youth, if they win, Awesome... If they lose, awesome

Great job by the front office the last three drafts that the jazz were involved in..... We are all set up, now we HAVE to PLAY these guys!
I want to forget about the last 2 stupid *** years and move forward with the youth.
To Ty Corbin: I will forgive your past and not bash you anymore if you play the young guys next season

The thing is that with the way the team looks right now, especially if Gorbet, Neto and McNeal are on the roster, Corbin will be forced to play at least the majority of the youth. There will not be enough vets not to. There are about 12 players under contract or that we expect to be signed such as Carroll.

All dat

I'm not convinced of that. I guess I will always be the unbeliever.

Don't be like that.. let it go bro.

This post makes me happy!
Thanks stoked. (would rep if could)

Even Cy is on board. C'mon OG, don't be a gangsta.

You can take the gangsta out the hood, but you cant take the hood outta the gangsta

I'm so conflicted. I don't know if I'd be happier if we started the young core and made the playoffs, or if we got a top 3 pick in 2014. But with the addition of Burke, someone who is capable of contributing right away, I'm not sure we'll be bad enough to get super high in the draft...even though we're so young and have no bench.

I do not think that what we have will be as bad as people think. But the Jazz still have a mulitude of options. They could jsut keep their own pick and ride this group for all they are worth. They could round up a pick or 2 in 2014 for a couple of bum contracts. Then packasge those and a player into a higher pick and a shot at a better player. Or just keep the picks they get from those teams...

The Andrew Wiggins SweepStakes is going to be very annoying and entertaining to watch next year. Teams are going to compete for losses after the Allstar Break. Headlines like, "the entire Suns starting lineup has been ruled game time decisions due to concussion like symptoms (Yes, the Warriors kind of did this haha).

Both are great things. If the C4 can make the playoffs this year with a crappy bench, then we have an awesome team. All we need then is role players. If they suck, then great, we get another shot at a star. Just hope the FO doesn't go all vet on us and that they let the young 'uns play. No matter the outcome, it can't be bad for Utah.
