I'm late to the party....actually I was way too early to the party. Obviously love the pick... I about had a heart attack last night I was so excited. I mean, where did that come from?
As I've mentioned before, you guys are going to love Trey's leadership and poise that he will bring to the Jazz. He's a perfect fit to fill that gap in leadership and identity that the Jazz are missing right now. But most of all, you are going to love his work ethic - if something's broken he is going to work his butt off to fix it. Trey hates to lose and wants to be the best point guard in the NBA, he believes he can be the best point guard in the NBA....most guys say that, but he means it. If Trey struggles early, just give him some time and he will figure it out.

Was wondering when you would show your self. Congrats on getting your guy to Utah. Hope he becomes the best pg at some point.
Thanks Thee - I know you have your doubts, but give him some time. If he struggles this first year, he will figure things out over the summer and come back stronger. Guaranteed.
I just moved back to Utah and am happy to have some of Michigan back here with me. Should be an entertaining 13/14 season.

I think something that's going unnoticed here is that Corbin was ecstatic and maybe even pushed up to get Burke.
Does this mean more playing time for him?
I'm expecting 20 minutes a game from him as a backup point this year based on how this organization brings up young players, but it could be more.

Even though we all hate Corbin we can all be excited Corbin really likes Burke. He will for sure get 20 a game. I would bet around 24
I don't hate Corbin. He's actually grown on me this off-season. I think it'll be cool to watch him grow as a coach with these young players and hopefully it works out well.

I think Corbin is going to surprise a lot of people this next year. Of course none of it will be because of him, but because of Sloan, Malone, Jensen and whoever else we can credit so we don't have to admit we were wrong.
Coaches have to grow just like players do. I think we're going to see a very different Corbin next year personally, but only time will tell.
