Both are great things. If the C4 can make the playoffs this year with a crappy bench, then we have an awesome team. All we need then is role players. If they suck, then great, we get another shot at a star. Just hope the FO doesn't go all vet on us and that they let the young 'uns play. No matter the outcome, it can't be bad for Utah.

I think spycam was saying that he is worried that the C4 will be young and inexperienced enough to not get into the playoffs, but good enough to not get a good draft pick either..... So no playoffs or good pick

I think the only danger of having that happen is if Lindsey goes out and gets three very good vets and uses up the Jazz' cap space. Even IF the youngsters perform amazingly, Kanter and Favors are still raw, even more so with Burks. Lillard was ROY lasts season and Portland struggled. The same could happen with Burke. Best case is that the young starters play even with most teams. But then a bench of Carroll, Gobert, Evans, Tinsley? and ? comes in and is outscored by 10-15 points.

This is why it is KEY to have an AWFUL bench. You don't want the bench winning games for you. IF you have ZERO bench and you are in the playoffs end of December, you don't need a good draft pick anymore. You have your players. You just need role players. If you have ZERO bench and suck in December, then just ride it out.

The bench is the key. You don't want the bench winning anything for you. You want the bench to lose you games, and the starters to fight through that.

The Andrew Wiggins SweepStakes is going to be very annoying and entertaining to watch next year. Teams are going to compete for losses after the Allstar Break. Headlines like, "the entire Suns starting lineup has been ruled game time decisions due to concussion like symptoms (Yes, the Warriors kind of did this haha).

It's gonna be nauseating. I think Stern's last claim to fame is going to be rewriting the lottery rules after what we witness next year.
