Al Jeff Highlights vs Lakers

6 plays, 1 jumper, 5 he's going TO the basket by himself. Don't get me wrong, Boozer was a great shooter. But going to the basket puts more pressure on defenders, draws fouls and help, and you can certainly rebound those misses a lot easier. Millsap should be able to clean up playing next to Al. I have a really good feeling about this.

This. Opposing teams pick your poison. They'll have to foul or double team. LA couldn't stop him with the double team, so maybe try fouling next. As far as I'm concerned, AJ can ball hog all he wants as long as he's drawing fouls. If he gets bigs in trouble then look out for open driving lanes for D-Will. One of the biggest holes in the 2009-2010 Jazz IMO was lack of capability to consistently draw fouls. They would often get into trouble but the opponents didn't. Putting a team into the bonus make offense much easier, and tends to bench key players.

Hey do you have this game saved, Id love

I'm debating as to whether or not I should make Hayward highlights .

This channel was gonna be reserved for Jeff, Miles ,Evans and Deron

to be able to actually watch it.

Man in this game alone, Jefferson was able to score on Gasol like 4 times more than Boozer ever did in his career... The one time was the and-one dunk which was nice but I would much prefer the subtle, going-strong-to-the-basket moves by Big Al. Did you guys see Gasol shaking his head after Jefferson made that jumper over him?

Thanks for the video clip. Loved seeing Al Jeff make Gasol his bitch in those plays. Sweet moves. Not just on the Jazz, but even in the whole of NBA itself its been quite sometime since we saw legit post moves like that from a big man. There are'nt that many true low post players any more, and even the few of them remaining, they dont have as good-looking a move as Al put out there. I have never seen even Dwight Howard do some of this, although he could jump high like crazy and dunk.

In the playoffs, the Lakers will probably instruct Gasol to not play Al Jeff too tightly but to give him some space and dare him to make that jumper. THey will also try to push him out further. And they wont double team him much. Hopefully big Al would be prepared for all that stuff.

Jefferson had a couple of nice blocks on Gasol as well (although Gasol converted one on a put back).

For once it's nice to see Gasol have to work for his points against Utah.

The Lakers didnt double down on Al and that is why he was taking it in on gasol. This is what you want. Now you have to look at what he does with the ball when he gets doubled. Will he take a bad shot, or will he kick it out to the open man or the cutter. So far he is looking good.
