We won't get big time FAs. We will get better than average FAs the second we make the WCF with a young and enduring core.

I don't think we necessarily have to limit ourselves to just that list. Like this year, teams will be scrambling to add the big names. In the process, they'll make available other players in order to clear space. Could be a deal like Lindsey pulled off this time, with us getting junk exprings and future draft picks. Or he could try to acquire someone like Landry, Jack, etc. Jazz won't have the full $31M available. As you said, we'll need to extend Hayward and Favors. But Kanter and Burks won't be due for new contracts until the year after. And Burke is WAY down the line.Assuming the Core 4 plus Burke live up to expectations this season, I'd use the bulk of the cap space on extentions for Hayward and Favors--probably $8m per and $10m per respectively--and hold space for extensions for Kanter, Burke, and Burks. The only realistic piece on the lists above are Mario Chalmers or Avery Bradley as a back-up PG. Paul George will get a max or close to max extension this summer.
Throw everything at the player we should have drafted. Paul George
Agreed caveat: Burks traded while value highest this year or next for 2nd round draft pick + mini-vetI don't think we necessarily have to limit ourselves to just that list.
