It says a 2nd round pick is coming our way. If this is yet another 2nd rounder or a 2nd rounder already included in the Tankers/Jazz deal I do not know.

Can somebody please tell me what the jazz are getting by facilitating this deal. I just read on realgm wiretap that the jazz are sending a 2nd round pick either to denver or golden state. That cannot be right. I also read that this may be part of the salary dump trade with golden state. That means we get nothing more back. Then I read we get an additional 2nd round pick out of this. Does soebody know?

I think we get the 2nd round pick.
Why do we do this if we get nothing at all? If we don't want Foye, just let him walk.
 
I feel like Dennis Lindsey hates every acquisition that KOC ever made. Foye provides a huge need of 3-point shooting on a small salary. I'm actually surprised by this move. Not sure where this production comes from now. Gary Neal?
 
I was thinking about that. We were pretty bad still with our 3 point shots. So now we have Hayward, Burks, burke, and rush really?
 
If he's really getting 3 years at $9 million, then there's no way I want him back. The jazz are dumping salary and moving towards the future with their young core. That salary is just money taken away from the young guys and the cap space they created to set themselves up for the future. They can bring guys in on one year minimum deals and have room for a better option next year once they actually see how the core 5 look together for a whole season. It's time to move on.
