Following potential 2014 draftees

what about trading Trey Burke, Hayward and the Jazz 2014 + GSW2016 for Wiggins

then selecting Semaj Christon with the GSW 2014

were set to tank for 2015 or steal John Wall to play PG, if that happens

play young: Christon, Burks, Wiggins, Favors, Kanter

tank for Emmanuel Mudiay

The GSW pick is '17, not '16.

I don't think that gets Wiggins.

I don't see the Jazz 'tanking' past this year.

Not crazy in the least. I think he's a collegiate SF as his offense continues to be refined and a SG in the NBA.
He's one of the most physically gifted ballers I have ever seen, ever.

Just making sure I understood that. You think Wiggins will primarily play SG in the NBA?

what about this player? is WCS better? and is he not going to declare this year? i dont see him on DX's mock

SF to me is where the low hanging fruit is in 2014, i also like the SG's...

I live in AZ, and I went to two of Arizona games this year. "Zeus" has a ton of potential, but is just raw talent right now. I would give the nod to WCS right now.

i really like James Young on the jazz, and his value as a late lotto pick, if the jazz pick can land him... i think TJ Warrens upside is close to Youngs, but Young has much more BBIQ and should translate faster

the GSW pick might be able to scoop up Aaron Harrison, or Alex Poythress

anychance the jazz draft 2 SF Hybrid types?

i hope all of the 2014 centers have been shooting ft's, especially these 2

WCS must improve, hes the type of guy i redflag because i think "if he had a back to the basket game, teams would hack a shaq him"

but Kaleb should be shooting closer to 75% from the stripe, i really find it hard to believe that a player of his size and skill would fall outside of the top 10 in any draft, even this years

We need to see where the holes are on the Jazz after this season. However, if we deem Burke as a worthy starter I can certainly see grabbing two SG/SF's. Having Hayward gives us an advantage to move people around depending on matchups.

Yes... I am desperately hoping WCS does better from the line this year (can't do any worse). I keep reminding himself that he's only been playing/focusing on bb for two years.

i think unless gobert is a dud, center will not be a priority for the jazz in 2014

so i hope all these guys declare

Mam Jaiteh and Khem Birch are mocked in the 2nd round, both should provide excellent value at those picks, also this 7'er looks good to me as a 2nd rounder

Aaron Craft, Spencer Dinwiddle and Joe Jackson are the 2nd round guards ive got my eye on.

Yeah but with these Chinese players you never know how old they are. Unless you get them in the 2nd round or they are fool proof like Yao...PASS!

Warriors fans think that they're somehow now a 55-win team and that they'll pass up Memphis and Denver this year.

I think they'll do well to get the 6th or 7th seed.

many of those chinese players, not only are 'young' but they are weak and unathletic

im not defending his athleticism(no footspeed) but Wang is infact 250lbs or near it, and it shows, with 2nd rounders there will always be caveats

^^ has lost 20-30lbs and is still near 20% bodyfat, DX has him in the 1st round... Przemek Karnowski cannot shoot FT's (47%), also his defense is terrible and doesnt project to improve much, very slow of foot, little explosiveness, and short armed for a 7'1" guy...

to me id rather gamble in the 2nd round than on this type of player

I think they'll have a very similar record to last year, if they stay healthy.

Barring any set backs Khem will be coming out. Word is he is developing a nicely on offense over the past few months. He is already a defensive wizard. Love Khem. He is the type of player who rises so I don't think he will be around. Mid to late first is where I think he winds up.
