its not that burke is a bad pick, i believe he was near proper value, i just wouldent have taken him

and knowing that we could have traded from 46 to 27 for just cash

coulda scored

Schroeder(@14), Mason Plumlee(@21) and then Gobert(@27)

and then still gotten Neto...

right?

or is that a fallacy of predetermined outcome, and not worth posting?
 
Growing pains are what its all about right now. Heck, that's what its all about for the next 2-3 years. If we are still having issues at that point with Burke than you're argument of not drafting him would make sense. Not in year 1 summer league though.

Well that's the usual franchise scrutiny if you draft the first player at a position.
If we collect fan reactions:
1) Cavs pissed about Bennett
2) Orlando kinda okay with Oladipo
3) Wizards have no fans that I know of
4) Cats pissed with Zeller
5) Suns booed Len if I'm not mistaken
6) Yeah that one was shipped to Philly. So no clue how Philly/Pelicans commented on the draft
7) Kings still booing the Maloofs, none cares
8) Detroit leaving Fans puzzling and disappointed when they opted for KCP
9) Jazz Fans ecstatic about Trey

Let's see who getts the last laugh
 
It has been a couple summer league games. Burke will figure it out. He, from all appearances, is a hard working kid with that passion and hunger that will drive him to be better. He will figure it out and be fine.

Been saying that for two years (since the beginning of the 2012 draft thread. I said PG's were going to be sparse and we'd be better filling all other positions and then going all in on a stud through FA. I like Burke for this draft class... but I would rather grab a couple stud wings in '14 and offer a good chunk of our cap space to 1) Rondo, 2) Dragic or ??? ..
 
Just brutal again. I think we may have been spoiled having drafted 3 (Hayward, Kanter, Burks) pretty good lottery picks in a row. Perhaps the odds have caught up .
