I was going to say the same thing. Maybe he was holding out for an office, but the Jazz upsized a cubicle for him instead. That takes some time to arrange.

He had taken 2 different teams to the D-League Finals with 1 team winning it all. Plus he has been around the Jazz Org. since 2001... I'm not sure what else he could have done to deserve the 3rd Assistant Coaching position...
