Memo has flaws as a player but he is a very serious professional with a "team first mentality". All the reports show that he is in better shape than expected and hopefully he will be back shortly.

Yeah don't you just hate the guy.
I mean he's horrible at spreading the floor, and he can't even shoot the ball.

The thing I hate the most about him is how much the coaching staff hate him too, and are always talking about how much of a loser he is.
Hell, even Deron Williams thinks he's a loser too, he's said it before ;-)
 
Nice interview. Sounds like his recovery is still progressing. Said his foot still hurts when playing 5 on 5 though. Sounding like a December return is possible. Yes, it will be good to have him back.
 
We won't see this guy back until 2011. Guaranteed. Still not sold on "it will be good to have him back." If we are doing awesome and he suddenly comes in and ruins everything, this place will erupt.

Memo is not going to come back and "ruin everything". If he does by chance stink I believe Sloan is a good enough of a coach that he will not play that much. With Memo able to shoot the 3 if he and Jefferson (or even Millsap) are on the court at the same time it will only give Big Al more room to operate.
 
Guess you dorks forgot about how Memo was pretty much carrying the team at the end of the season when Boozer and AK were hurt, and how he tried to play through an injury in the playoffs that led to his achilles season ending / possibly career threatening injury ... what a bunch of ungrateful retards on this site. Give the guy some credit. He played his heart out and all you can say is that he's terrible.
 
If healthy, Okur giving us 20-25 minutes after the all-star break will be a huge boost. I hope the Jazz will be as cautious as possible with his return. The interesting part will be alot of Okur's open looks will now come off Jefferson working on the low-block rather than from floating around on the weakside in the Jazz's pick-and-roll. Either way, a healthy Memo playing limited minutes will definitely improve this team.
 
Memo has added a "lower-than-he-used-to" post game. He's not AJ, but he's definitely not strictly the one dimensional 3 point shooter everyone lazy sob labels him as. Plus as a career 80% FT guy, and decent, not good, defender, he certainly doesn't hurt us.
