I'm more of a truck/suv guy.. I want my cars to take care of me rather than me take care of them.

However, full disclosure, I have had;

4 Mercedes
1 Ferrari
1 Viper (spare me, I was 24yrs old)
1 Acura
1 Range Rover

Pretty much everything else has been trucks and SUV's.

My first car was a 94 C220 with 260000kms, that was purchased for around $2000. Never ended up in the shop ONCE-- and I drove it every day until some douche in a silverado totalled it this past March.



Used insurance money + spare cash to get a steal of a deal on a 2003 C230 Benz, 2dr. Also has zero problems. Love their quality, tbh

Yes on the G-class.
My sl500 amg was a 1999
my 2009 was actually a sl550

You should look at the GTI's and Golf R's (if you really want that AWD) if you like German engineering for a reasonable price. I'd take a VW over a Subaru any day, personally.
