Hack's write up:
My bad *** team.
Patrick Ewing / Dwight Howard
Karl Malone / Amar'e Stoudemire
Kevin Durant / Tracy McGrady
Reggie Miller / Vince Carter
Tony Parker / Russell Westbrook
Top ten reasons my team woops loggy's
10. My bench is way better
9. Reggie Miller is a better player than Horny
8. Tony Parker owns Chris Paul
7. Loggy is a liar. Dont believe what he says about my team.
6. I have prototypical players at all positions. No forcing a fit.
5. I have crazy good shooters to spread the floor
4. My team is more athletic and smarter
3. Gregg Popovich is my coach
2. Karl Malone's Elbows
1. Tim Duncan is NOT a power forward. He is a center who called
himself a PF so he wouldn't have to compare his career to other
centers. Thats chicken bleep. Therefore Timmy should be disqualified.
LogGrad's write up:
My team wins this matchup 4-2. Here's why:
With an interchangeable front line consisting of Robinson, Duncan, Parish, Kemp and Worthy as a stretch 4 (maybe even Drexler), there is just too much diversity and experience for them to overcome. We can go small ball and play Worthy at the 5 (which he has done), Kemp at the 4, and Drexler at 3, Hornacek at 2 and Paul at the 1 and literally run you to death. I can play big ball with Robinson, Duncan, Worthy, Drexler and Billups and pound you in the half-court. Every one of my team are excellent defenders with all 6 of my front court players widely recognized as solid if not premium defenders at their positions, and every one of them except Hornacek viewed as solid defenders. And we know Hornacek wasn't half bad. I can run Paul and Billups together, Chauncey as a combo 2, and you will never be able to leave one of them alone. I can throw a 3 point barrage COMBINED with solid defense at you by running Duncan at the 5, Worthy at the 4, then Drexler, Bowen and Paul. Or go small and run Drexler as a stretch 4, with Bowen, Hornacek and Paul. Good luck doubling down on Duncan or Robinson with Hornacek and Bowen in the wings waiting to launch an uncontested 3. And Kemp and Worthy off the bench will be a beast to contend with at best.
I even win the individual match-ups.
Robinson/Ewing - Robinson
Duncan/Malone - Push
Drexler/Durant - Push
Hornacek/Miller - Miller
Paul/Parker - Paul
Parish/Howard - Parish
Kemp/Stoudemire - Kemp
Worthy/McGrady - Push
Bowen/Carter - Push
Billups/Westbrook - Billups
With Malone and Ewing this team will give us a run for our money, but we are just too overwhelming in combination for them to last long. They will win 2 games, but we take the series in 6.
