I like him but I think it is a bit of a reach based on what he has (or hasn't) done so far is his career.

The value on your picks is pretty decent, but you've got NO alpha. I mean, I understand the Love selection, but Parker was the better choice. You'll end up with a team of unprovens and/or complementary pieces. It'll come down to matchups.

But you seem to have the board's psychology figured out in these competitions. So whatevar.

Love is a 25/13 guy with range out to anywhere. Thats top 5 is both scoring and rebounding. He is as Aplha as I could get with that selection without picking a point guard or an old guard.

Yeah was deciding between Batum vs Kawhi with my pick as well... but went with Batum because:

- Batum is slightly taller at 6'8 vs 6'7

- Shoots 3's at the same rate (37%)

- The same rebound stats (6 reb per game)

- Both great defenders on the wing & athletic finisher.

- Batum the better creator off the dribble.

- Batum scores 2 more points per game (14 vs 12) and has 3 more assists per game (4.6 vs 1.3).

I believe if Batum was given the chance to play with Duncan in the playoffs the way Kawhi did, Batum would have really shined in the Finals as well. He's just stuck in a bad team with an owner who wants nothing but draft picks year after year IMHO...

Agreed.. that's why I was reluctant to pick him..


He's also a beneficiary of the Spurs system IMO... put him in another team and I don't think he would have done so well (he can't YET create shots for himself, for example).
