I don't think you're understanding my question. Yes, Evans has been on the team for three years and, yes, he has not shown much improvement those three years but his playing time has been limited. Many players don't improve until their 3rd year. There are numerous examples of this. So, again, are you saying that you feel Evans CAN"T improve? Your post makes it sound that you're just writing him off.

Wow Evans was fantastic in his start. He had a total of 0 rebounds as a starting PF/C in 15:40 playing time. I hope Evans turns out. But I've never been sold on him as a PF/C. And I have not seen the skills to be a SF. His shot looked great in the 1st preseason game so hopefully he can become a decent backup SF. But he just does not have the size or strength to be a PF/C and I really doubt he ever will. Maybe as a backup only against teams with a stretch 4.
 
Lets all criticize Jeremy and write him off because he had 0 rebounds in only 16 minutes of a game that no one saw. Lets all forget about his 13 rebounds the game before in only 25 min. Hell, lets just forget about the string of good games he has had over the last two years and just go off this one game.
 
I haven't posted anything lately in this thread.
Just want to say it was dumb of Ty to start Jeremy. It's not good for him or the team. I would go into reasons why but I feel it would insult the intelligence of everyone reading it.. as it's awesomely obvious.

If he wants to be more than a scrap minutes player at PF and C he needs to defend in the post (He seems incapable of this) and Rebound every time he plays. I don't expect 10 RPG but to have 0 in 16 minutes as a starting big is pathetic.
