Following potential 2014 draftees

If the Jazz dont get a top 7 James Young is my target.

Young and Embiid would be my targets around 7 or 8. Embiid looks to be a physical specimen like Favors but 2 inches taller. At #7 I'm not sure you can pass that up regardless of how set you are in the front court.

If we got the #7 pick in the '14 draft, we would have somehow ****ed up the whole grand plan for winning a Championship IMO.

I still think this draft is 7 deep with a couple pushing to make it 10

wiggins
randle
Parker
exum
smart
Harrison
Gordon

there are a bunch of others with good performances could be added to that group.

if the jazz got the 7th pick then they take who is left over. after that it will get a little cloudy.

I agree.

As far as Young being a OAD... starting and playing time mean little with draft stock. Scouts already know who he is.
He'll easily get 20+ minutes per game and his stock will reflect how he performs and not the end of year box score.

I want the credit for being one if not the first on the James Young bandwagon

I was already on it. He is my second guy after Wiggins. I would probably take Parker before him but only if he play SF. I am not saying he is the second best player. I just love his game and he fits a need position wise.

I think Burks should be our go to guy off the bench.

Burke/Neto
Young/Hayward
Hayward/Young
Favors/Evans
Kanter/Gobert

We still have GS pick. Man is this team going to be loaded after next year.

That AND cap space next year.

So Marcus Lee can dunk? What else can he do?

Link the initial post or it didn't happen

Phenomenal shot blocker/defender. Decent shot and handles.
Just think a slightly more skilled Jeremy Evans. Nothing spectacular, but hella good for 8th man on a college team.

Quick question: Can Julius Randle play the 3? How consistent is he shooting the 3 ball? How fast is he in transition?

Kanter
Favors
Randle
Hayward
Burke

That is a BIG BIG lineup up front. I don't think we'll miss too many defensive rebounds and I think we'll grab a ton of offensive rebounds. With Kanter, Randle and Hayward, I think we'll draw a ton of fouls too.
