Big Al benched...

Hey.. Al.. I love ya man, but you better start playing with energy on a consistent basis because if you don't you'll be replaced by Fesenko... Who might I add is showing effort and even though he's a liability on the offensive end of the court, he makes up for that with his tenacious defense in the paint and his hustling for the rebounds...

I think Al thinks he's still in Minnesota and when the Jazz get down he seems to lose interest... Maybe Sloan benching him will light a fire under his ***...

This is why I love Sloan... He doesn't give a **** if you're a million dollar man on this team or not, if you're not playing with heart, he's going to pull your ***!

If Al isn't gonna bring it, it's time to give Fess a chance to shine... surprised it took 7 games for Fess to get his first shot to show his newfound basketball skills

Sloan coached with his nuts and his gut, InGameStrategy's coaching 101 is going to be deserted in the future.

Al Jeff should be benched. The guy couldn't hit a open lay up to save his life. He has been highly disappointing so far this year. He just seems to be couple steps slow on offense. I am not sure if its because he should be playing PF or if it is really just that he is to dumb to learn the offense.

I love big Al, but this is the best thing that could have happened to him, and us. I think if we bring him off the bench for a few weeks, he'll get better. I really hope it's just the stress gettin to him.

I think this was necessary and a wake up call to him. We just showed we can beat Miami in Miami without him. This will make his step up his game , because Sloan showed no reservations to benching one of his "stars".

his touch around the basket has been off and his hands have been horrible. i hope both are correctable. also when he was out, the ball was flying around on offense and everyone was touching it and passing great. Al needs to take note.

Big Al looked pissed as they were walking off the court. Anyone see that?

(ps: bring back Bozzer!)

I noticed that during the 4th quarter comeback he was sitting on the bench bored while the rest of the guys were jumping up and down... not a great sign.

I like Big Al and I want him to stick around (dont bring back Boozer, who also, would have been on the bench) but he needed to be benched tonight,. If Al's offense isn't working he isn't a good enough defensive player to make up for it, Al needs to score to be productive.

Big Al better get the message quick. He will either get it right and step up or Jerry will let him sit there and rot. Big Al can adjust the easy way or find out the hard way.
