Yeah - we suck. But we're rebuilding. We have buttloads of draft picks now, and Jefferson has been contributing and I trust Rush will also. So so far, DL hasn't done a bad job. Give the dude a chance.
 
Serious question here:

With the new CBA, the new lux tax penalties, and the new revenue sharing, does all that make the tank possible? Because no matter how bad the Jazz suck, they will still make gobs of money this year. In fact, in a lot of ways, it is more profitable to suck than to win, especially when you start approaching the lux tax line.

So, thank you Stern? lol.
 
I say give Lindsey a gold star. Its working great so far.

Now if we can just get Ty to keep stepping in it (like not having his best defender play defense), then maybe he can get sent packing.

You totally forgot that we should fire Ty for losing to Brooklyn! That bum should never have lost a road game to a title favorite with a bunch of great players.

Maybe we could hire that Hornacek guy, but seriously when you think about doesnt it seem like we have a very poor coaching staff as a whole. I mean Sidney Lowe totally stunk at NC State.
 
I haven't seen anyone complain about losing.

I have seen people complain about not doing this rebuild earlier and essentially wasting last year.

I have seen (and written) several posts bashing Corbin. But that isn't new. I've been calling for Corbin's head for a year. We cannot rebuild without first replacing our coach. Will the jazz waste yet another season with King Krupa?

Amen to that. Had they done this the first year out of the lockout, we could have this starting 5:

Lilliard
Hayward
Barnes
Kanter
Favors

We would then have a vet bench, and probably a top 4 team in the West this year. Yikes.

I hate Sidney Lowe. I thought for sure they would fire him when he got arrested.
 
Why should we blame Lindsey for a team losing that doesn't have all of it's players playing?
 
You can't win any game starting JLIII because little differences decide the winner in today's NBA games and having your four rotation players and starting PG injured, you can only come close to winning, which happened in the first three games anyway.

Nah we lost two of those games by 3 points.
Wouldn't have needed a great player to pick up those two wins.... burke and rush healthy and in shape, we probably win those games

I think a lot of Jazz fans are going to be disappointed with Burke at first. He is a shoot first pg, and pg's struggle to shoot their rookie years. I think he will make us worse initially, as he will shoot a lot. As the season progresses, and he gets better and they all gel together more, I think he finishes strong.
