Game thread..Pelicans @jazz.... tank tested

3. Kanter was just flat out awesome on both offense and defense tonight. Also, for those that say Kanter Kantrebound I would say you are looking at stats and not what is happening. On every rebound the other team is sending one or two players to box out Kanter. On every play he's fighting for position against one or two people. Other players have to step up when they concentrate all their effort on stopping Kanter. Davis was amazing and so was Kanter tonight.
1. I'm definitely with you on Kanter's performance tonight. His D wasn't perfect, but it was definitely improved. He was doing a better job boxing out (although he was still doing some weird ****, and ball watching at times).

2. In previous games, Kanter's rebounding has been ****. He hasn't been boxing properly OR fighting for position. Given the injury/recovery, I think it's still worth waiting until game 20 or so to be concerned if he goes back to defending and rebounding like he did on the recent road trip.

Winning a championship in 2017 > winning regular season games in 2013

True but beating the Pelicans is not endangering that. The Jazz are on pace for a historically bad season. The tank is secure.
