Rondo to Knicks possible?

I agree that it would get serious consideration and it would probably the best offer they get.

Actually Shumpert can shoot(40% from deep last season and this) The problem is if he decides to attack after close-outs and can't find another open man, that's when trouble start cause he can't finish in any kind of traffic.
 
And I think the only reason that Boston talks with New York is that they want that Wallace contract gone as early as possible. W/O him gone they can't attack the free agents. If they land a high profile prospect who shows a lot of promise/development they can start negotiating because they are the Boston ****ing Celtics. They have one they can get more under the new CBA, as free agents actually value teams that have history paying luxury tax(=winning).
 
I texted the trade idea to Rondo earlier today.

He said something along these lines.

"Hit me up when you respect my value. Have another drink and get back to your lazy-boy."

(That was the gist.... and fwiw, would have been response if I suggested Miami should trade lbj to get him)
 
Rondo needed Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Doc Rivers to win the Championship.


Do we have the likes of Allen, Garnett and Rivers stashed away somewhere I didn't know about?

He was a sophomore that year, and Allen and Garnett were damaged goods after that year...

Styles make teams, like styles make fights... A run n gun Jazz with Rondo running the point would be pretty lethal.

Just pitched our trade-proposal to my friend who's a Celtics-fan, and a DIEHARD Rondo fan.

He says he thinks the Celtics could get a better offer (I have my doubts), but that it definitely aint bad. He just wants to see Burke play first.

The Jazz and Rondo are in two different places heading in two different directions.

Makes no sense what so ever.

Oh, and he is coming off injury.

Hell no. Its a waste of time.
