5. Deron Williams to Carlos Boozer | 834 assists

Perhaps the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Boozer and Williams could have topped this list if they hadn't decided to take their talents elsewhere. (To be fair, the Jazz traded him after Williams made his wishes clear.) They weren't quite Stockton and Malone, but Jazz fans surely wouldn't mind their consistent production these days. Boozer was never the same after Utah, and Williams has seen better days.

Sloan tried to make them Stockton to Malone 2.0...it didn't take, but it showed that S&M wasn't just a fluke. Sloan, where S&M happens.

I really hopes someone uses his photoshop skills to create a picture with Sloan in leatherpants and a whip and stockton/malone getting punished by him. Best case it's stockton's body with malone's head :D:D
The fantasies...

Good idea. Just don't include any profanity in the image

Could you imagine how many more assists they'd have if Boozer hadn't missed 2 seasons due to hangnails and torn jerseys?

trend we are noticing?

every player who left utah hasn't looked the same. Look at dwill and boozer at the best examples.

....absolutely hilarious! True dat....and dead on nails right! For all of Boozer's shortcomings, his ability to comprehend the "pick and roll" with Deron was a thing of beauty! What made it even more effective was the fact that Boozer could also use his left hand when rolling to the basket! I know he's got at least 25-50 dunks with his left hand on that pick and roll with Deron to his credit! Wonder what the Stockton to Malone totals were, just out of curiosity? Had to be tops on the all NBA, list I'd imagine!

Is it possible that Boozer is the most hated Jazz player ever?

Its possible..... but for me its greg ostertag.
I loathed that butterfingered jackass

The Jazz strung together four very nice seasons on the backs of those two playing together. Whether they're douchebags or not, I'll take what they brought over what meager offerings the supporting cast brought (who either thrived off of the attention their play brought [Memo, Brewer] or could never thrive because they couldn't be The Man [the living, breathing, biggest waste of $86 million that this franchise will ever know]). I still feel that team was some real wings (less Brewer, more Matthews) and a defensive center away from a real shot at a ring. Oh well.
