The more, the merrier. Rebuilding is a long-term process. Hire a top-notch coaching staff, extend the young guys that show promise, add talent through the draft and THEN add a few veterans to round out the bench. Take as many swings for the fence in first round picks and draft-and-stash guys to load up the bench and maybe find another starter or hopefully an All-star out of the bunch.
