Couldn't we just flip rondo?

If the Celtics best offer is just shaving off a contract and getting ZERO real assets back, then how much market-value does Rondo have? The ideas are a bit convoluted.

Are you crazy? Rondo when healthy is a top-5 PG, maybe better when he's at his best. Burke may never get to that level.

I've factored in the fact that Rondo's coming out of an injury and that will slow him down a bit (look at Rubio after the surgery - he just isn't the same player he was before the injury). Also I think he was spoiled in that Boston team with Ray Allen and Paul Pierce who can shoot it better than anyone in the NBA. Garnette is no slouch neither he can hit that mid-range. So to me his assists number is a bit inflated.


I've made the same outrageous prediction about POR and GSW and got flabbergasted by the board before. I basically said POR is for real this year and GSW will struggle as I just don't trust their bench/depth. The same thing with MCW - nobody gave him the time of day (except SexualFlavors), but I knew his skills would translate.
