Schroeder in the DLeague

It's funny how quickly the tide has turned...

One minute Schroeder was HOT in the SL, and Burke was not.

The next thing you know, Burke is in contention for ROY and Schroeder is sent to the DLeague...

Honestly, this is part of why I don't follow draft prospects too much - the Jazz are my team, and it seems like a huge waste of time following tons of players when so few of them will ever actually play for the Jazz.

Plus the Hawks are in a position where the Jazz have been - a playoff team that doesn't really have a good chance of winning the championship. So rather than continue letting Schroeder develop in the NBA at the possible expense of some early losses (and jeopardizing playoff chances), they've gone with Shelvin Mack as the primary backup PG for now. I'm sure Schroeder will regain most of the backup PG minutes by the time the All-Star break comes around.
And really, who are we to talk, we are letting our primary back up develop overseas while we play someone who should be a ten day contract guy.

I don't regret following Burke at Michigan last year AT ALL. It was fun watching him develop and being "the man" there. It was a roller coaster ride for sure, as nobody thought he would be within our range having the #14 pick and all, but the ecstasy we all felt at the draft was hard to replicate.

Seeing him now thriving on our team is "unreal". This time last year I was watching him at Michigan and remember my brother saying "He's too small". And now my brother has to eat his own words as he watches Burke lighting it up and making plays for the likes of Kanter and Favors.

"Lol kkk is the weirdest dude on the planet

dat jazzfanz.com mobile app doe"

I don't understand racist organizations either. Being open with controversial views can be damning.

Does he need Asian condoms?

It's almost as if Summer League is meaningless......

Ding, Ding, Ding. . . We have a winner! Summer league ball is barely even the same game that these players will play in the NBA. It would be similar to judging NBA potential by watching a few pick up games at Rucker Park.

The first time I heard of Schroeder is when someone posted a You-Tube video of him dominating a bunch of 6'2" white guys from Europe.

I wanted MCW - and that's just because legit 6'6" playmaking PG's come around about once every 10 years. I had no idea he'd play this well.
