Dunno why you're so worried about all this. Nothing bad will happen and there will be no wars and if there are the US and there allies will come out on top anyways.

Looking ahead it look like the USA will go 9-0 on their next 9 wars.

Not sure why y'all are so worried or even discussing this tbh.

Prefer to live my life without worrying about things I cant control. Not gonna get worked up about it.

This is becoming more of a hot spot with a state owned newspaper going so far as to say that unless the US backs off that war is "ineveitable".

China, and Vietnam to a lesser extent, are doing land reclamation in the sothern parts of the South China Sea. China is doing so at a dramatic rate and has even been building things on these artificial islands such as runways, barracks and light houses.

The US has flown over these artifical islands and claims to have spoted mobile artillery pieces. Various governments in the area are taking different sides to one degree or another.

Japan, Philippines, Australia, Vietnam and the US are staunchly opposed to this. Japan is heavily investing in the Philippine and Vietnamese navies as well as their own. They are increasing ties (including military ones with the Philippines). The US is moving navy ships into the area and sailing within 12 miles (natural islands get a 12 mile radius of sovereignty to the "owner", like the USS Fort Worth guided missle cruiser) as a show that they refuse to accept China's claim to these reefs and that they are not islands according to the Law of The Sea treaty.

Russia, Cambodia and Singapore seem to be siding with China to one degree or another. Russia and Singapore are holding naval drills with China in the area. Cambodia is blocking any declarations against China in ASEAN (asia pacific regional body). CHian is investing heavily in Cambodia.

China, Philippines and Singapore have all said that as it is this will be war and the bloodiest one in our life times. China and the Philippines are especially heated at each other and are gettign extremely heated in their rhetoric. The problem is that the US, and to a growing extent Japan, have defense and protection treaties with the Philippines.

China, Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia and Brunei all have over lapping claims to the area.

How realistic do you all see a scenario of a conflict opening between China and the Philippines happening that drags everyone in? What do you think China's intentions are? What should the U.S. response be?
