Because that makes absolutely no sense?
Totally makes sense. We get a shot at another top five pick

Butler maybe, Gordon no

marv and kanter for butler and thier first rounder makes plenty of sense............. no way in hell that the bucks would do it, but it makes sense for us
And the Bucks do this why?
I think the idea here is to not get value back, save for maybe a future pick or trade exception.
The Knicks are asset-depleted and don't have the salary to match. Unless the Jazz want to take back some crazy salary next year. They don't have any picks to trade

Then how can get Jazz get rid of Richard Jefferson who is not a longterm piece and pointlessly makes the Jazz a better team? This isn't about making the Jazz good this year.
I'm not sure this clearly makes the Jazz worse enough or the Pacers better enough. I guess that all swings on whether Granger ever comes back.https://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=mkqhkxb
They don't own their pick but I guess you could consider Granger an asset.
