At what price will the Jazz not match Hayward's contract?

What the hell is Corbin doing...

I wonder if he ever thinks why Hayward has such a low shooting%. Is he really going to continue force feeding this team with Hayward as the top scoring option? When is he going to give someone else a shot as the top scoring option? Or will he continue to twiddle his thumbs?

What do you think Hayward does?

Very good creator of his teamates, slasher and spot up shooter, and working off his teamates, improving rebounder, and help defender who uses his length and underrated athletic ability to make close shots very difficult, and a very heady player.

Ty is asking him to create his own offense. This year most of his shots come off the dribble instead of getting his shot within the offense, and this is leaving him with very few oppertunities to get wide open spot up oppertunities which = a low FG.%. Can someone tell this to Ty so he can do something about it, he's ruining Hayward before our very eyes.

I've been really disappointed with Hayward this year.

I'd say try to trade him to Phx for a first rounder this year. I bet Phx bites on that.

It is clear already that GH is not the main or only option now that we have TB. And GH is not being asked to create his own shot near as much as he was before we had a point guard. So those issues don't hold water over the course of the season as long as TB stays healthy. Frankly, TB playing well will decrease GH's value if Gordie continues to shoot a bad percentage. Trey takes away most of the excuses. GH is a solid all around player but I hope we stay under 10 though I will be surprised is some team does not offer 12M

Also, need to see how the year finishes....

Hayward always has played better after the new year. Not saying that is a good quality...but seems accurate.

I do think the Jazz need to answer the match question now.

They need to anticipate someone offering 11.5/12 ...

So , easy logic. If match, keep him. (and hope no one does)
If not match , trade him (most likely someone will creep into that range).

Game of Chess.

No one knows what the Jazz offered. If it was the rumored 4/40, GH made the right call. Odds are he will at least get that from someone.

Gordon has been inconsistent for 4 years now. What more proof do we need that he's inconsistent and that mental pressure gets to him?

I'm ready to lock in my answer.

Name a few that do the same things as hayward. Not many players can. His position might be easy to replace, but not players like him.

Dunleavy, Hinrich, Butler....really? They are walking corpses now. Have you invented a time machine allowing players to return their prime?
