I know we have a lot of fat people on this board who love to cook and eat. I'm very much part of the latter and can eat like a hog at a trough, but I can't cook worth a crap. I can follow a recipe easily enough, but I don't have an eye/nose/taste for a good recipe. So here I am, asking my fellow fatties for some help.
I have to cook a meal for four adults and two kids, ages 3 and 6. It needs to be quick and easy, but at the same time, more than just a box of Mac n' Cheese. I will be heading to the grocery store in a few hours, so I can pick up anything I need and I probably have every cooking utensil I need. Would you all mind sharing some of your favorite easy meals? The girls are picky, so it might be best to stay away from steaks, onions, mushrooms, etc. -- you know, the stuff that they don't like only because their mom told them it's gross and that will take them 20 years before they realize how delicious most of it is.
If you have links to a recipe, that would work as well.
Thanks in advance, friends.
