What's new

Game Thread # 35: Milwaukee Bucks are 1 and 1 since Sanders returned to the starting lineup

It's also encouraging to see Burke hold Knight down to 8 points. His defense is more pesky than we realize. Knight's last 7 games (37, 18 ,11 ,26 ,21 ,17 , 36)

Let's see Kanter had a good game, Hayward shot the ball very well, Trey didn't put up huge numbers but he made plays down the stretch to seal the win, Favors play continues to exceed his 12m/year contract. Ya'll complainers can go find a new team to cheer for.

I've been a fan of this team since the days when TV broadcasts were unheard of and KSL Radio time-delayed the broadcast until after the BYU game. I really would like to see an NBA championship banner in the rafters, but that is unlikely with draft picks in the 10 - 14 range. I make no appologies for wanting a high draft pick and if that means I must root for losses as a Jazz fan, then I will root for losses.

I want a high draft pick too. Doesn't mean I actively root against my own team.

Marvin played alomst 30 minutes, with 1-7 shooting, 4 rebounds and 2 points. WTF ? Kanter with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks only played 19 minutes.

Pls. Everybody should stop talking about this "earning playingtime" ****. If it was about "earning" I do not have any problems with that. Play Kanter 10 minutes, If he playes like ****. But IF he playes good or better than his contender, then you have to play him longer. If you do not want to play Favors and Kanter together in the future, then you have to trade Kanter, it´s better than wasting his talent, maybe Utah can get anything good for him. .

At least New York and Brooklyn won tonight (both on the road against San Antonio and OKC no less).

Wow
Awesome!

And last year you were rooting for losses because it was supposedly the only way to get rid of Jefferson and give the core 4 their chance. Now the c4 are no longer talented, and the only way forward is thru a top 3 pick. Before last year, people were rooting for the Jazz to lose because it was only way to get rid of Boozer and get a fresh start. In fact, in my six years on these forums, I've yet to see the majority root for the Jazz. It is literally the worst place to be for a Jazz fan.

So much fail in this post

Travesty imo

You are right, they bitched 2 years long against BIG-EAAAL, every day and every night to play the young guns and now this young team got boring. Everyone who thinks that this team has no talent, is ****ing retarded. Marvin and Jefferson are producing not that much, this UTAH TEAM is winning because they learned to play together with each other and it gets better game after game. Their is huge and deep talent in this team, even Hayward would be really good, when he could get a smaller role.

If Corbin could be able to install Kanter successfully into this line-up, this team would be even better.

The best part is, us rooting for wins or losses is not going to make any difference when it is all said and done, so why don't we just enjoy the ride? People who get all butthurt after wins are just looking for reasons to be upset. It's childish, and i'll repeat what I said in the chat: you'd think the way people carry on around here that we were a forum for a truly beleaguered franchise like the bucks or the cleveland browns.

You are so full of crap. I don't have a problem with anyone's opinion; it's thier opinion and they own it. But I won't tolerate idiots telling me who I should root for or others accusing me of saying things I never said.

I thought mentioning too much good play might be too much for the "we must suck" crowd so I left him out.

Lol fair enough.

Just as long as you don't mention marv and jeffy I think you will be ok

For the moment he has just to give up to let Marvin finish the games, as he did with Jefferson lately.

Anyway I don't like seeing Kanter coming off the bench.

Look at their entire roster and tell me their starting lineup. Then I will tell you how deep is their bench.

Our bench is only Kanter and Burks!

The Bucks have one player over 15 PER (league average), the Jazz have five. That's quick and dirty, but good enough to illustrate they are nowhere near the Jazz talent level.
